After nearly a decade building Shopify experiences in agencies, I made the leap to go in-house—joining Bohomoon, a fast-growing jewellery brand, as their first developer. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep repertoire of eCommerce features across dozens of brands, but rarely had the chance to see them evolve post-launch. Now, I’m finally on the brand side, where I can iterate, learn, and improve.
Since joining Bohomoon, I’ve already made meaningful progress: improving site performance, reducing reliance on third-party apps, enhancing product merchandising through data-driven recommendations, and building out a complete development pipeline—including task management in Linear, structured workflows in GitHub, and consistent linting and coding standards. It’s been a rewarding shift—working closely with senior leadership and the wider team to shape an online experience that’s both thoughtful and scalable.
As the business grows, so will the technical function. I’m laying the foundations not just for a better site, but for a development team built with the same care and focus—ready to support Bohomoon through its next phase of growth in a competitive, fast-moving market.
